NICMAR University believes that the method of instruction to maximize learning may vary from course to course, and therefore, uses a host of pedagogical approaches in different courses such as case studies, lectures, group and individual exercises, class projects, and simulation of the business environment to enrich the overall programme delivery. Site visits are organized as and when required.
The MBA ACM programme at NICMAR University innovates traditional construction methods by leveraging technology and aids to excel in construction management.
The programme adopts an integrative pedagogy by creating a learning environment and helping the students in connecting with their learning across the syllabus. The programme aims at project-based learning, focusing on the collaborative approach of pedagogy where groups of students learn together and work to solve a problem and build strategies to complete a task.
Regular classroom sessions, and assignments coupled with comprehensive assessment make this programme rigorous. The students are imparted training on state-of-the-art software used in construction like Microsoft Projects (MSP), Primavera BIM etc.
Workshops on developing managerial skills, experiential and learning application-based projects, case studies, group and individual exercises, class projects and simulation of business environments to enrich the overall programme delivery are the features of the collaborative learning environment.

The dedicated and experienced faculty member with over 16 years of experience in academics and 6 years of experience in construction supervision, material inspection as per agreed quality assurance plan, contract specification and relevant code of practices. Knowledgeable and experienced in the construction of several projects such as gas pipelines, water supply and residential buildings. Construction management specialists bring forth knowledge from various courses such as construction equipment management, construction methods and materials, construction quality and safety management, and project management software (Microsoft Project and Primavera) applications. Adept at creating a powerful curriculum in the field of construction management.

Dr. Sudarshan Kore
Head, MBA ACM(Junior Batch)
Dr. Sudarshan, a Doctorate in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering having combined experience in the classroom and in research totals 8.5 years. Concrete Materials, Alternative Cementitious Materials, Industrial and Mining Waste Products, Sustainability, Estimation, Precast, and Prefab Structures are some of the areas of research that are of interest.

Admission Requirements
- Students with a regular bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognised institution / university are eligible for admission in this programme. .
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks at graduation level is required. Final year graduating students can also apply.
- Applications received are evaluated and eligibility is established on the basis of the documents submitted. Eligible students are invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Post Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (PG-NCAT), Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA).
