Admission Procedure for Academic Year 2022-23
Selection of students is made by the selection committee. Those interested in admission to the various programmes offered by the NICMAR University may apply online, pay fees and upload documents through the website: www.nicmar.ac.in or direct link: https://admission.nicmar.ac.in / https://admission1.nicmar.ac.in or download the application form from the website and send the duly filled application form to the Dean-Admissions, NICMAR University, 25/1, Balewadi, N.I.A. Post Office, Pune - 411045, along with the application fee and required documents as mentioned in the application form within the specified date. All specified documents must be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Candidates’ preference of programme will be considered, but the allotment will be done at the sole discretion of the admission department, NICMAR University. Candidates should appear for the selection procedure on the given dates.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MBA AND PG DIPLOMA
Applications are scrutinised and eligibility is established on the basis of the documents submitted. Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Post Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (PG-NCAT), Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA). The details are as follows:
Post Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (PG-NCAT) will be conducted online. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). GD & PI would also be conducted online. Candidates can attend online PG-NCAT, GD and PI from their residence or any suitable place as per their convenience.

The RA is calculated on the basis of weighted scores of the cumulative academic performance along with work experience (wherever applicable) obtained from the documents submitted to NICMAR University by the candidates.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit. The merit list is drawn on the basis of performance in PG-NCAT, GD, PI and RA. Admission offer letters are issued in the order of merit.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR INTEGRATED MBA
Applications are scrutinised and eligibility is established on the basis of the documents submitted. Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Under Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The details are as follows:
Under Graduate NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT) will be conducted online. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview (PI). PI would also be conducted online. Candidates can attend online UG-NCAT and PI from their residence or any suitable place as per their convenience.

Domicile: Out of the total approved intake capacity, forty percent of the seats are reserved for the students having domiciled in the State of Maharashtra
Admission under Management Quota
The NICMAR University has the policy of admitting a limited number of students under the management quota, not exceeding 15% of the total students admitted.
Candidates to be considered for admission under the management quota must fulfil the following requirements:
- Satisfy all the eligibility criteria for admission to the respective full time programmes of the NICMAR University as mentioned on the website.
- Must have appeared for the admission process of the NICMAR University as mentioned above.
- On selection, should be ready to pay tuition fee, which will be 50% higher than the regular tuition fee for the respective programme.
- All students who successfully complete the programme under this quota will also be eligible for on campus placement assistance both for internship as well as final Job placement (as applicable).
